SHOW STOPPING HUES
How can such beauty exist
in a world that suffers so,
while we carry on
with guns and strife,
there are precious, hopeful plants
breaking through warming earth,
reaching toward a sun-drenched sky,
showing us an array of elegant perfection
in each leaf and blossom,
instructing us in show stopping hues
with endless clues,
drink in every nourishing drop
until there’s no more room for hate.
I’m immersed in beauty from your words and flowers and trees. You’re reminding me that our goal is to share ever more kindness. Every small thing leads to rebalancing.
Thanks, Judy. Yes, every small thing matters.
Your poetic words are so true. Flowers breaking through after the cold of winter carry the message of hope and survival. If only every power player in the world could see and heed.
Thanks for always making me think new thoughts.
Thank you, Maureen. I was looking at a Hosta pushing through the soil just this morning. It will provide beauty all summer long.
